Ebrahim Raisi commenced his Latin American tour this week. His delegation will visit Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua. As he sits with dictator Nicolás Maduro, the Iranian regime is currently executing nonviolent protesters by hanging.
By meeting with Maduro, Ortega, and Díaz-Canel, the Islamic Republic is seeking to strengthen the international autocratic alliance and suppress democratic progress.
“Since these dictators collaborate to protect their interests, we, the voices for democracy and human rights in these same countries, also unite to expose this alliance for what it is: an international effort to create impunity for killers and dictators.
Unfortunately, dictators are more united than democratic countries. We call on the leaders of free world to be united against tyranny.
If we don’t get united to end dictatorship, the dictators will get united to end democracy,” said Alinejad.
